Management Consulting
Advanced management consulting that helps companies improve performance and achieve sustainable growth, from feasibility studies to corporate governance and internal control systems.
Management consulting
Management consulting helps leadership pinpoint obstacles and make well-founded decisions, from the feasibility study for a new project to a complete governance and internal control system.
Management consulting means helping organisations improve their performance. It is provided by an audit firm or by qualified, professionally independent specialists who identify and clarify the obstacles and difficulties in an organisation’s policies and systems, develop suitable professional guidance and expert advice, and help implement and follow it up continuously. Through our management consulting services we aim to meet each client’s needs in a distinctive way.
We help management read the numbers and make informed decisions, and we help companies develop internal control, governance and risk management systems that support transparency and operational efficiency.
Our work rests on two pillars: feasibility studies that come before an investment decision, and governance services that organise the relationship between management, shareholders and other stakeholders.

Feasibility Studies
What is a project feasibility study?
It presents the results of analysing, researching and evaluating a proposed project idea, and establishes how likely the project is to succeed and be profitable, whether it can be delivered financially and technically, and how cost- and time-effective it is. It is normally prepared before any step towards implementation, including planning and financing.
Why feasibility studies matter
The study works as a roadmap: it maps out likely obstacles and offers alternatives that take time, budget, labour and legal requirements into account, to show whether the project is both feasible and worthwhile. Its benefits include:
- Valuable information for deciding whether to go ahead.
- Better chances of success through assessment against several criteria.
- A clear understanding of project objectives and meeting stakeholder expectations.
- Delivering work and resolving issues on time.
- Responding to risks and challenges as they arise.
Key areas of a feasibility study
A project feasibility study usually assesses technical capability, financial cost and the required budget, legal soundness, risks, operational feasibility and timing.
How We Prepare a Feasibility Study
01
Initial analysis and scope
A preliminary assessment to uncover any obstacle that cannot be overcome before committing to an intensive study, followed by defining the project scope, internal stakeholders and external clients, and its likely impact across the organisation.
02
Market study
No project happens in a vacuum, so we study the current competitive landscape in depth and determine whether there is a viable place for the project in the market.
03
Financial evaluation
We examine the project’s costs, including equipment, resources and labour hours, its expected benefits, the timeline to profitability, the financial risks and, most importantly, the potential financial impact if the project fails.
04
Obstacles, alternatives and reassessment
If potential problems emerge during the study, we look for alternative solutions so the project can proceed, and we take a fresh look at the findings, especially if time has passed since they were prepared.
05
Go or no-go decision
The study ends with the recommended course of action, in other words whether the project should go ahead, with clear reasons to support management’s decision.
Governance Services
Corporate governance has become a major topic for regional and international organisations and one of the foundations every business entity is built on. It protects the interests of individuals, institutions and communities and contributes to a sound economy and comprehensive development in developed and emerging countries alike.
Governance is the set of rules, systems and procedures that best protect and balance the interests of a company’s management on the one hand and its shareholders and stakeholders on the other. It is also a body of laws, systems and decisions aimed at quality and excellence in performance through the right methods for achieving the organisation’s plans and goals, and a set of contractual relationships linking management with shareholders and stakeholders through the way the company is run and directed. Its purpose is better performance, disclosure, transparency and accountability, long-term shareholder value, and fair regard for the interests of every party.
Governance objectives
- Achieving transparency and fairness, and giving the relevant parties the right to hold management accountable.
- Protecting public ownership, respecting the interests of those who deal with the organisation, and limiting the abuse of authority at the expense of the public interest.
- Allowing performance to be reviewed from outside executive management, with powers that provide effective, independent oversight.
- Building confidence in the management of the national economy, supporting higher investment and growth.
Governance in Qatar
Listed companies are subject to the Governance Code for Listed Companies issued by Qatar Financial Markets Authority Board Decision No. 5 of 2025, and private joint-stock companies to the governance code issued by Minister of Commerce and Industry Decision No. 71 of 2019. Other companies benefit from adopting governance voluntarily to clarify authority and prepare for growth or financing.
Governance Principles
01
Protecting shareholder rights
Secure ways to register and transfer shares, attend the general assembly, vote and elect directors, obtain information and dividends, and oversee performance.
02
Equitable treatment of shareholders
Equal access to information and equal treatment of comparable classes, protection of legal rights, disclosure of directors’ and managers’ interests, and compensation for infringements.
03
The role of stakeholders
Cooperation between stakeholders and management, their involvement in monitoring and oversight, access to relevant, sufficient and reliable information, and protection of their rights with compensation if they are breached.
04
Disclosure and transparency
Accurate, timely and comprehensive disclosure, review of the information disclosed, and reliable channels to deliver it to users.
05
Board responsibilities
Accountability to the company and its shareholders, sufficient and reliable information, equal treatment of all shareholders, compliance with the law, and sound decision-making and follow-up of core functions.
Frequently Asked Questions About Management Consulting
When does my company need a feasibility study?
Before taking any step to launch a new project or a major expansion, including planning and financing. The study shows the likelihood of success and profitability and the technical, legal and operational feasibility, and partners or lenders may ask for one before they commit.
What does your feasibility study include?
It usually covers an initial analysis, scope definition, a market study, a financial evaluation, and obstacles and alternatives, and ends with a clear go or no-go recommendation. We take into account the local laws for the activity and the regulations of the relevant ministries and authorities in Qatar.
Is corporate governance mandatory for my company in Qatar?
Listed companies must follow the Governance Code for Listed Companies issued by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority in 2025, and private joint-stock companies a governance code issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in 2019. Other companies usually adopt governance voluntarily, because it clarifies authority, protects partners and makes financing easier. We help you work out what applies to your company.
What is a governance manual?
A document that sets out how the board is formed, the chairman’s role and the board’s responsibilities, delegations of authority and key policies, the code of business ethics, internal control systems and self-assessment and performance evaluation. We prepare it, monitor its implementation and amend it when needed.
Do you provide management consulting to companies whose accounts you audit?
No. Law No. 8 of 2020 regulating the audit profession prohibits an auditor from providing consulting work to an entity whose accounts it audits, to protect its independence. We therefore provide management consulting to organisations whose accounts we do not audit.
